The last hotel in Western Australia to still have an operating horse trough (yes, for horse and buggies), the Tradewinds Hotel has been around awhile. Originally operating as the Plympton Hotel in the 1800s, it has undergone a few facelifts in the past, however this most recent refresh is its most decisive and impressive yet.
We were engaged to reinvigorate the hotel's identity, stripping back some of the corporate layers and introducing a more welcoming, laid-back sensibility.
We created a wordmark that appears to be blowing in the breeze, incorporated a relaxed, pastel colour palette and sourced imagery from renowned Australian artist Sarah Kelk to sit at the centre of the new brand identity.
We worked closely with the Tradewinds team to oversee all creative output and are continuing to rollout the new look and feel across all internal and external applications.
We were engaged to reinvigorate the Tradewind Hotel's identity, stripping back some of the corporate layers and introducing a more welcoming, laid-back sensibility. The newly modernised rooms and jaw-dropping rooftop terrace overlooking the Swan River demanded a fresh new look and feel.
Tradewinds Hotel worked with TwofromTwo on a full rebrand of the hotel, to match the look and feel of the recent hotel refurbishment. This included branding concepts, complete stationery suite and signage overview. We found the experience to be extremely rewarding and believe the final outcome will place the Tradewinds Hotel in a great brand position now and moving into the future.
