Dame Nellie Melba. She's on your ten dollar note, she has several major roads and countless venues named after her and she was at one time, the most famous woman in the world. Her former home, a 1920s cottage surrounded by sprawling gardens in the Yarra Valley, has been developed into one of Victoria’s premier gourmet, cultural and event venues.
